Members of the Neelankarai East Civic Exnora are requested to follow the rules as given below:
1. All residents, be it owners or tenants; of Casuarina Drive, Sunrise Avenue, Seaview Avenue (4th South Main Road) and the branch lanes off these roads have to be members of the Exnora compulsorily.
2. The residents/tenants on these roads are not permitted to hand over garbage collection to any other association/individual. Neither are they permitted to dump their garbage in any vacant plots.
3. Garbage will be collected everyday ,only between 7.30am & 9.30am
4. In case your garbage is not ready at the above timings, kindly keep them until next day; same time, when the garbage man comes
5. Segregate your garbage before handing over to the garbage men. Bio degradable like food waste, kitchen waste, plant trimmings, paper are bio degradable. Plastic bottles, bags, cartons, thick boards etc are non bio degradable.
6. If the garbage is not segregated, the garbage men have been instructed not to accept garbage.
7. Do not tip the garbage men on any account, be it festivals or any celebration at your residence
8. In case you have more than regular garbage to be cleared owing to any function at your house,or large quanites of garden garbage, please SMS the treasurer Mrs. Bhamini Gopalakrishnan at 9840084834
She will arrange to get this quantity cleared at an additional payment of Rs.100/-. This payment to be handed over to Mrs. Bhamini Gopalakrishnan & NOT directly to the garbage men
9. Ask your servants, gardeners not to dump any garbage in any vacant plot.
10. Do not set fire to any garbage inclusive of any garden waste, trimmings, leaves, twigs. Smoke from such burnt items causes health problems to residents.
